Breaking Bad S4. E7 and E8

Breaking Bad S4. E7 and E8

Don Eladio played by Steven Bauer also played Manny Ribera in Scarface (1983)

Veli-Jussi Hirvonen

At ep 7 i was like Walter is doing this to himself….just work you’re getting paid millions. Stop making problems where there are none.

Greatest Ever

That was Gus’ partner (boyfriend). You never see Gus with a woman, ever.

When you're ready to step up this type of game, there's Narcos if you have'nt seen. It's all in subtitles though and heavy.

Robert

If you want to know about how Hector got in the wheelchair, you’ve got to watch “Better Call Saul”. It’s before BB, and it’s awesome, but slower in the first two seasons. Saul, Hector, Gus, Mike, and some great new characters! Still, it has BB bones and is worth it!!

Randy Suyematsu

The reason Jessie is avoiding the girl he likes, and making Saul give her the money is because he knows he's dead as soon as Gus gets a chance, so he doesn't want to be attached to her, as well as they can use her as leverage against Jessie if they're together, but if nobody knows he loves her, they can't hurt him, or hurt him through her.

Jonah Bertorelli

Killing gale was to protect Walter tho.

ViVaLaRan .

I believe it's suggested that Gus and his partner may be lovers because Hector is teasing them after peeing in the pool when he said, maybe they enjoy the view and turned around and blew a kiss towards them.

Monica W

I agree, more BB! Binge worthy. I read that Sir Anthony Hopkins got so hooked on BB that he binged watched the entire series in a few days because he said it was the best acting that he’d ever seen, and he even sent a personal note to Bryan Cranston

Let’s go!!!🤠

Justin Doggett

Interesting motive for calling Hank. I had always thought that it was to ultimately protect Walter, his cook (just like Gus' former love) and the people he cares about. Probably both!

Stacey Capito

Been waiting patiently for you to get to these episodes. When I rewatched earlier episodes after seeing this one, it made even more sense as to how Gus treats Walter. IMO taking some unnecessary risks to keep him safe in the lab only. Whether or not Gus is sweet on Walter or just admires his abilities (in a nostalgic remembrance type of way), Gus definitely protects his cook.

Stacey Capito

Wanna find out more about hector and his wheelchair and Gus? Then you’ll have to watch BETTER CALL SAUL 🙂

Adam smith

Agree, even though "Saul" is the title of the show, you learn the backstory of so much more.

Corks

You find out how Hector ended up in the wheelchair in Better Call Saul. You find out a lot of things about Gus, Hector, Don Eladio, Tuco, Saul obviously and so much more

Davey

Ooooh! Great reaction to a couple of enlightening episodes! So juicy! Thanks y'all!!

daisy

Better Call Saul covers the "old days"

Ed Pawley

Yessss not a spoiler but I believe Gus watched his partner and love get killed in front of him- hence his hatred for Hector. Like others said they never say it but I remember thinking that when I watched Breaking Bad for the first time. Gus made the phone call to Hank cause just another f you to Hector and Hector's family.

Lee Stephenson

Yep, good catch, BJ! And I also don't think this is a spoiler, but just another nice touch in this ep, the scholarship Gus talks about was set up in his partner's honor.

Mike Miner

It was Gus who called Hank to warn him about the twins. Gus is just deliberately mocking Hector when he says "maybe Bolsa knows who placed the call. Ask him. But then again, hes dead too."

Ravi

That's the beauty of watching Better Call Saul all these questions like How did Hector get in a wheel Chair gets answered.

Pacmule

I know I and many others have already commented heaps of times that you should watch Better Call Saul after this series. But I can't emphasise it enough how great a spin-off show it is to Breaking Bad, it's like T2 to The Terminator or Empire Strikes Back to Star Wars, it's so fu$king good

Davey

Yes! BJ got it!!! I missed it the first time. It never really "says" in the show so this is not a spoiler, but it's heavily implied that Gus is gay and Hector just killed his love. That's why Hector made that homophobic joke about "liking what they see" when he peed in the pool and why Gus is so pissed. Again. it never says but I think Gus put the kid toys in his house to mislead Walter. A Mind Game he was playing. Great job guys! You have very keen observations!

Raymond K Hessel

Things are getting spicy!

Davey

woohoo!
