Pulp Fiction

IDK if true but I heard that Jules' BMF wallet in the movie was actually Quentin's wallet IRL at the time.

MertzRocks

Your order is correct but there has to be one more day: "I hear you're taking Mia out tomorrow," says 'Paul' (Calderone) at the bar on day 1; so day 2 Vince buys his H and takes Mia out and she ODs. Day 3 (or even 4 possibly but let's say 3) the fight, the taxi and the first motel scene. Day 4 all the rest of events of 'The Gold Watch'.

MertzRocks

Popular theory that imo holds no water. Why would Brett and company have Big Man's soul????? NO: Two or three gold bars in the case (no more or it'd be too heavy). and Marcellus just cut himself shaving (which is what Ving actually did).

MertzRocks

I wish someone WOULD react to it.

MertzRocks

Its weird how they make the n-ER in the subs though lmao

vceisdead

lol Fonzy is from a TV show called Happy Days. Yea this is another good movie, saw this when I was a kid

Saints_Madness

Four rooms is another tarrantino hidden gem. not sure if its good for reaction though! hahah its not gory, its weird and clever.

Bow River Basher

The suitcase has marcellus's soul in it. and the band-aid is covering a wound where the soul was sucked out of.

Bow River Basher

First watching this movie myself and I have to say I am equally confused. But as always love you guy’s reaction ☺️

Awilda Luciano

Kinda like having the subtitles on. I know some people don't like that, but it helps clear up so much confusion. And I just gotta say how much I appreciate Butch for coming back for Marcellus. There's some things that transcend any differences between man, and that was one of them. Granted, he could've taken a little less time savoring which weapon to pick out and save Marcellus from dozens of unnecessary thrusts, but at the end of the day, he came back.

coburnsven

Big time movie. Rare too because most of the movie is all in one set.

coburnsven

Great reaction. I’d love to see you react to Quentin Tarantino’s “Reservoir Dogs”.

Dan Burkhardt

So? Did it change? 😆

SylMyl

So Bruce Willis shit is technically the end of the movie. They show it out of chronological order. lol. It's brilliant the way they did it but it can definitely confuse you watching it the first time.

M Salam

Not really a hard movie to follow the storyline. Attention spans are shorter now though.

shawn boyce

This movie was wild when it came out. You would never see a movie like this come out today, but even back in the 90's it was still very controversial. It's my favorite movie of all-time. Not saying it's the greatest movie of all-time, just my favorite.

"Who's Fonzie?" I am so sad that someone hasn't experienced Happy Days and the Fonz.

Chris Marrero

I am thrilled y'all watched this movie. It is a top 10 movie for me. I have seen it numerous times. You will need to watch it again to start sorting out what all is happening, it's one of those movies where you have to pay attention to each scene. Also, Travolta movies have to have a dance scene, he is so good and sexy when he dances. Have a wonderful day and thank you for the reaction.

Terrie Calabrese

Since you guys are currently watching Breaking Bad there are some similarities between the styles of Quintan Tarantino and Vince Gilligan who is a huge fan of Tarantino. Mike from Breaking Bad is inspired by Mr. Wolf from this movie. Also the jumping in timelines is something that Breaking Bad does often.

Brian

Cool thing regarding Vincent and Mia at the restaurant: Mia describes the “Fox Force Five;” which is very similar to the death squad in Kill Bill.

Ed Curtis

It should also be noted that he often said “Correctamundo!”

John Orloff

quentin tarantino brought back the medium of cinema that wasn't seen since Citizen Kane I think... with nonlinear narratives plus his style of social commentary in his scripts is unparalleled

Karl Kraus

Psoup

Quentin Tarantino should write a sequel about Jules and his adventures after leaving Vincent, and what happens as he “walks the earth”.

N M

Technically the ending of the movie is when Butch and his girl left on the chopper, all the other scenes came before and the beginning of the movie is i believe to be the morning of the 3 guys in the room with the case. Remember by the time Butch went back to get his watch Jules had already quit and Vincent was by himself. Just opinion.

Richard Griffin

I've seen this movie about 100 times, and I just figured out the order of things. I always thought it took place over 2 days, but it takes place over 3. Day 1: Jules and Vincent get the case, Marvin gets shot, Winston Wolf cleans up the mess, they go to the diner, they take the case to Marcellus's bar where Vincent meets Butch, Vincent goes and buys heroin, Vincent takes Mia out, and then takes her back to Lance's to save her from oding. Day 2: the boxing match. Day 3: everything that happens with Butch getting his watch back, killing Vincent, fighting Marcellus, the stuff with the Gimp etc., and getting on the chopper to catch the train. That is the order of the events.

John Orloff

This is a goofy cartoon that tells the story of Pulp Fiction in the order the events happen: https://youtu.be/SLuSvXQ7M5w

John Orloff

Please do Jackass 3.0 next! Should be funny to you guys lol

𝓙𝓸𝓼𝓱𝔂𝓦𝓪𝓷𝓽𝓦𝓲𝓷𝓰𝔂

just to let you know I have never understood this movie I watched it 3 or 4 times just for the action

melvin pierce

Steak is supposed to be redish pink in the middle don't cook it well done it is already dead your just cooking the flavor out of it!! LOL Loving the reactions

melvin pierce

This is a movie of how the lives of different people from different backgrounds can get intertwined and meet up in the most unusual and explosive situations. PS - Asia, you asked who “Fonzie” was. Fonzie was the ultimate cool guy on a popular tv sitcom show in the 70s called HAPPY DAYS— Arthur Fonzarelli was his full name, but his nickname was “Fonzie” or “The Fonz”. He was kind of like “Danny Zuko” in GREASE.

N M

Thank you so much!!

Asia and BJ

One of THE movies of the 90s you've seen another already (shawshank) I can't remember if you've seen another (Forrest gump) if not you NEED to it's one of tom hanks' best

Karl Kraus

Great reaction guys! You just entered the world of Quentin Tarantino(he plays in a lot of his movies too,in this one he was Jimmie-the one where his wife was coming home and they were cleaning out the car) I love his movies. They are raw and he uses a lot of the same actors in them. Reservoir Dogs was his first and it`s a must see. BJ I see you like Samuel L Jackson and he has several more movies with him in them including Django Unchained,Jackie Brown, The Hateful Eight and Kill Bill 1 & 2. Would love to see more! Love you guys!

Dee Lawson

NICE!!!! Natural Born Killers next! Love Quentin Tarantino movies!

CALIXYUKON

I don't like all of Quentin's, but Kill Bill 1 and 2 and Hateful eight, Django Unchained and this one are the best for me personally of his!

SilverDoe🎔

Right, right, right. I get lost in the sauce with patreon's commenting; input box is annoying and you can't really format.

tkitez (take it easy)

Tkitez got the order mostly right except the final scene was just before the introduction to butch scene. Thats when Jules and Vincent brought the case back to marcellus and vincent had some words with butch. When butch kills Vincent you notice he's alone. Thats because when they brought the case back, Jules quit like he said he would leaving Vincent alone on that job. Jules tried to tell Vincent that they should be dead from the bullets. The very next job after he quits Vincent gets shot and killed

Michael Keefer

Definitely watch it again. The final scene was a flashback meant to tie all the stories together. I always enjoy watching movies with you. Even films I’ve already scene. It’s like watching them for the first time

Justtired

Oh, and the chronological order as far as I understand: the apartment scene with Vincent and Jules is first, followed by the visit with Jimmy/Winston, bar scene with Vincent/Jules in the shorts with Butch being told the fix is in, diner robbery scene (both), Vincent with Mia at the 50s diner/trap house, Butch's fight->getting the watch->Vega's death->gimp/pawn shop scenes with Marcellus being the final thing.

tkitez (take it easy)

Most bad ass characters of all time 1)Samuel L Jackson (pulp) 2)Superman/Batman (tie) 3)Ironman

TinCan Cosmanaut

Samuel L Jackson has been in 100 movies after this but his never been as bad ass as that speech in the restaurant. Fuck he’s so cool!

TinCan Cosmanaut

Fun fact: the actor who played the red headed drug dealer (Eric Stoltz) was the original Marty McFly in BACK TO THE FUTURE before he was replaced by Michael J. Fox.

N M

When Butch catches Vega on the can reading, it's a bit of a subtle detail that Tarantino put in. The heroin that Vega bought and shot up (and what Mia thought was coke and snorted earlier) is a vasoconstrictor; it causes severe constipation, so when the urge comes he had to abide. Especially bad when you have a long standing habit like Vega -- a habit that gets him killed.

tkitez (take it easy)

Marcellus was out of town that's why he asked Vincent to take her out. With regards to the fight Marcellus paid butch to lose so he could bet on the other fighter but when people found out that the fight was fixed the odds for butch to win went way up so butch bet on himself and thus made a boatload of money and screwed marcellus

James B.

Another great one in the bag! This is definitely a classic. Thanks guys! Another very often overlooked one that Tarantino does is True Romance. I never see anyone do a reaction to that movie. Definitely one for the polls in my opinion.

pkleo73

Oh also I had a wallet at one time that said Bad Ass Mother F----er because of Jules aka Samuel Jackson in this movie.

Lee Stephenson

I was in high school when this came out. Everyone was talking about how great this movie was, so I gathered a big group of friends to watch it right after school on bargain night. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan then and I have like all other Tarantino movies I've watched since, especially Kill Bill. I'm curious if my opinion of this movie will change now that I'm older. I'm kind of excited. 🤓

Stacey Capito

Wait Pulp Fiction?!?!?! YESSSSS This is one of my movies that I do not get sick off. Everyoneeee is in this movie and the Characters and Soundtrack are a masterpiece!!! Wowww I always wanted you guys to do this movie because how each story is combined and anyyways I could go on and on about this movie but I am just gonna go watch it now!!! I took some Nyquil before I realized this was posted but I don't even think that could keep me away from this reaction. Wowwwww Lee happy- Lol

Lee Stephenson

We hope you enjoy the reaction!

Asia and BJ
