His lies were terrible, thought up on the spot. And he almost always got flustered and started rambling a whole bunch of a nothing burger any time he tried to lie, or got caught in a lie. LMAO

2023-02-12 00:10:19 +0000 UTCFor the DEA/cartel situation: Gus basically controls the southwest US drug market for meth and the cartel mostly accepts him in that role. When the twins came after Walt there was that line from Gus about how he gave the blessing to go after a DEA agent. The reason the cartels don't go after the DEA is because it's bad business. The police in Mexico are very corrupt, but if the cartel goes too far north and starts dropping people in New Mexico or Texas? The USA government breathes down Mexico's neck until they're forced to act. So they are federales who killed the other cartel boss. Gus knew that if a DEA agent was shot north of the border by a cartel that it was going to force the MX government to move. The boss mentioned it a little before he was killed -- how the Mexican government always does a little "show" to make it seem like they're going to fight the cartels and then it just goes quiet again. But when you mess with USA officials, we're going to get you if we want. Money talks and nobody is more loaded than Uncle Sam.

I would have loved to work on a set of this series just to know if they had to make any consessions with clothing, furniture, scene layouts/ placements and basically any minor details.

Youll find yourself going back and looking up stuff that is essentially nothing...until its something...the Pink Bear ...classic example. Everything is symbolic in some way..either the situation itself, or the characters...what theyre going through, etc. Im sure a lot of that youve seen for yourself already..if you did delve into all the 'whats this' or 'whats that' with this show, youll find quite a bit. This show requires digging lol. Anyways, thanks again and looking forward to the rest of the ride...Nothing stops this train ;)p
