The actor that played Wick's final adversary attempted to speak Japanese several times throughout the movie, and it's absolutely horrible, not the least bit authentic (I can say this because I've lived there for decades and speak fluently). This has happened across the past several decades with a number of non-English languages. They spend months training for the stunts, fight scenes, etc. but can't teach the actors to speak a few lines in a foreign language so they sound authentic? It's annoying, and more than a little disrespectful.

I remember watching your reactions to The Terminator and T2 and you both saying how action packed they are and I couldn’t wait to see your reactions to the JW trilogy movies. It’s hard to believe Keanu is 58 years old. He was 55 when this movie came out and 50 when the first JW movie came out. I was reminded in this movie that all 3 movies take place in the span of about a week. When John told Winston he needed “guns… lots of guns” that was a throwback to The Matrix. His character says the same thing in that movie 20 years ago. Those two “samurai twins” that John fought in the glass room were the fight stunt choreographers for all the JW movies. I had actually forgotten about the betrayal, as I see it, until midday through the movie when John refused to kill Winston and sided with him against the adjudicator.
