jim varney was a local comedian in orlando like larry the cable guy he started doing advertisements for local tv fox35 he was always annoying a guy ya never seen named vern to tell him what was gonna be on tv ill link you an advertisment video so ya can see where he got his start

This, along with Ernest Goes to Camp, is one of my two fav Ernest movies. If you can find it, I HIGHLY recommend the Ernest P Worrell (sp?) Family Album. Hilarious!
