One other thing. If ya'll ever have the time, there's a special edition version of this movie with a lot of deleted scenes that require a heck of a lot of neat camera work, and the use of Linda Hamilton's twin sister again. There's a deleted scene with Kyle Reese, as well as a bunch of little hints showing that the T-1000 is starting to malfunction from all the damage it was taking throughout the film. Definitely worth watching.

So it's the second time Arnie has been around the particular piece equipment. In real life, that thing would be far too heavy to be wielded by a single person. However, a 500lb cyborg could probably handle it just fine. 😁 Also, the head of the swat team that goes in and shoots Dyson is played by Dean Norris...Good old Hank Schrader from Breaking Bad himself.

2024-01-27 03:33:51 +0000 UTCI'm late here, but fun fact, the scene with the cop getting coffee that steps on the T-1000 floor and stabbed through the eye, is actually twin brothers with the clone version! That's how they pulled off the scene with both of them. Also at the end, Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) has a twin sister, and when she is cloned by the T1000 it is her and her twin on screen!

2023-11-09 17:34:19 +0000 UTCThis is a completely inaccurate comment. James Cemeron has been very clear that there are 3 canon terminator films in his original vision. T1 T2 and Dark Fate and they are all worth his vision. The main reason people hated Dark Fate (regardless of it they will admit it or not) was because of a decade worth of bad sequels leading to franchise fatigue by the time Dark Fate came around. If Dark Fate had been released a year after T2 with T3 and all the other horrible sequels never happening, then Dark Fate would not have been so negatively received. But, if you ignored all other films and accept James Cameron's vision and only watch T1, T2 and T:DF it actually flows really well and manages to keep a very consistent tone. I think people underestimate just how much franchise fatigue can sink even a good sequel. Even a great sequel to any franchise can struggle to climb out of the muck and shine if there was a buch really bad sequels before it. Another issue that hurt Dark Fate and the completion of James's vision was the current toxic attitude towards girl-power films even though the Terminator films HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GIRL-POWER FILMS in the same vein as Aliens, the first Nightmare on Elm Street and even the first Halloween film. You are entitled to your own opinion but don't be dishonest about what films James Cameron was involved in and supported as true canon. Anyways, not looking to start a fight and I look forward to Asia and BJ's reaction to the rest of the films. Love and good wishes to all.

Ironically, I just saw an article today about an actual programmable shapeshifting liquid metal currently under development. Apparently the idiots that came up with that idea never saw this movie!
