Then he wrote an "s" on the end to spell "Aliens", paused for effect, then drew a line through the "s" to make a dollar sign. "Alien$". Everyone applauded Mr. Scott for a long while, then they green-lit the movie. That was his entire pitch.

Love it when BJ was saying "Close your mouth!" when the facehugger was trying to get on Ripley's face. I was saying with him "She can't! the facehugger tail was around her neck strangling her so when would gasp for air so it was easier for it to put it's tube down her throat". Love these two -- they ramped me up too while watching this movie, lol. Love your reactions! So glad I joined the family on here (I'm in Texas too) :)

2022-11-28 04:15:28 +0000 UTCThey watched the theatrical cut not the special edition that had the parts where Ripley found out about her daughter and that small section on Hadley's hope with Newt's parents finding the ship and her brother. Great edition to watch :). Still hope you watch the rest of the Alien movies.

2022-08-13 15:18:58 +0000 UTCBTW, the Aliens that look like spiders are called face huggers. There are also chest bursters and other types. The entire species is called Xenomorph. Also, in the extended version of Aliens you find out that Ripley had a daughter who died while she was in Hypersleep but was about 10 at the end of Alien. That’s why Ripley was so attached to Newt. Hicks’ shotgun was safe to use but Drake and Vasquez were using the dangerous ammo. Y’all should watch Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection just to complete the original series.

Remember he was the blue haired punk at the beginning of Terminator. there was also Michael Biehn (Hicks) who was Kyle Reese and Lance Henriksen (Bishop) who was one of the detectives in Terminator. And the guy that played Drake was in Shawshank Redemption. He was the guy that kept attacking Andy Dufresne. AND Badass Vasquez is in Terminator 2. There are a lot of cast overlaps between the Terminator, Alien and Predator series.
