2024-07-14 12:35:55 +0000 UTCWhat's so great about this trilogy is the fact that they keep repeating shots and motifs that echo throughout. For instance when Clara shows up at the blacksmith shop, it's the same angle and shot and actions taking place from the first movie when Lorraine shows up at Doc's garage. Also, the first time Marty enters Hill Valley square in each movie, it's the same shot, he almost gets hit by a car, or a wagon, you hear the tower sound. Everything matches up film to film in wonderful ways. It's why this is one of my absolute favorite film franchises.

And I JUST noticed that Deputy Strickland, who makes "Mad Dog" and his gang disarm before going into the party is the ancestor of PRINCIPAL Strickland ("Discipline!") And I had never noticed that before lol, my mind is blown.

Actually those were buckshot pellets that were used by Seamus McFly when he presumably hunted and killed the animal (rabbit?) that they were eating.

2022-07-21 04:42:53 +0000 UTCThird one was always my favorite. Sucker for a happy ending. Love seeing Doc who was always preoccupied with his work his whole life find love in Claire. He always said he wish he never made that time machine, but he'd never end up with his family if not. Such a great trilogy. So torn on wishing they do a modern remake for selfish reasons to have a new movie but it ended so great wouldn't want to mess that up. Can't wait to watch this one with you guys ❤️
