If you want to know other people's in-depth opinions on the story/dialogue, that's where anime reviewers shine, since they watch the show off camera and can spend more time rewatching/understanding the plot. In a perfect world, Nicholas would watch the video for the reaction, rewatch it off-screen to understand the plot and the video, then post a separate review video with his in-depth thoughts; however, he would split his audience and cause slower uploads, which are both crucial for reaction youtubers' growth.

2025-11-02 22:00:21 +0000 UTCtbh i think he does mix the exalting feeling of the visual and the story without telling about how the story and flashbacks came together for this episode. he doesn't speak about the story but idk imo i feel like he cares really about the story, i can't really make a constructive comment about the how it's noticeable like he does take attention to the story. I think without the story he wouldn't react this way. there is too much stuff to point out making me thing he does immerse in the story and the animation result at same time. i guess the feeling of his hype does hide his constructive commentary (which is not a bad thing).

It feels like he just watch the anime to look at the production sides of it and also trying too hard to make jokes. Like i get it, the jokes are for our own entertainment and the production of my hero is amazing. But i want to see him just immerse in the story instead of how good the anime is visually comparing to other anime in his mind (one frame man). Like one of the AFO powers got stolen, he is more focus on how hard the visual looks instead "oh shit" moment. Im not a hater really, always watch his reactions to music or anime. Im just trying to give some constructive criticism.

If someone could be capable of giving something as precious as OFA to him, despite him essentially being at the very bottom of society, a reject, then why can’t he extend a hand to someone also rejected by society as well.
