2025-11-28 19:52:37 +0000 UTCyou are defending incest, but thats not a bad thing. i think people have an extremely visceral reaction to incest despite it not being that horrible of a thing. dont get me wrong, its still bad, but some people treat it like its on the same level as pedophilia or rape when it really isnt. and tbh, i used to be the same way, until i watched an anime called "Days with my Stepsister" (hugely recommended). the show is about one of those relationships, and what i really like about it is that it doesnt tell u that its a good or bad thing, it just presents with one of those relationships form the perspective of the people in it and breaks it down, allowing u to think about it and draw ur own conclusions from it. one of the best anime i have ever watched

Incest aside, she was already trying to get over those feelings she knew she couldn't have, and thought she found someone new she liked that she COULD be love with. To find out it was the same guy all along and she still can’t have that, it would be heartbreaking On another note, (I am not defending irl incest here lmao) but if you had a cousin, or step sibling move in with you one day, and weren’t together since birth, I can totally understand how someone would get the feelings she got. Again, not saying it should be allowed, but it’s genuinely realistic, as funny as it is. Also, you talk about acting like brother and sister, but, tbf, don’t married couples also act like siblings a lot of the time? Not in any weird way but, just doing casual silly stuff living together, there is some overlap at least (I know someone is going to reply saying I’m defending incest lmaoo)

2025-09-04 20:17:21 +0000 UTCIt is not really an love angle, a love angle would be if you are not sure who is gonna win, and in this series its clearer than clear, and i dont think it is that bad since sugu knows she is wrong, thats why she forced herself to fall in love with someone else (kirito) to forget her love for her brother but then, well, fate wasnt on her side. As long as she knows the position shes in i see nothing wrong with it
