I love how each episode we can see Kirito gradually heal from his trauma of losing sachi. Then this episode Asuna broke that down by essentially reassuring him that she is someone equal to him. That she is the one person he doesn't have to feel an obligation to "protect"

The writing is great and it’s honestly my favorite part of the SAO franchise probably
