The Sacramento chapter of the Sisters in Crime writer's organization wanted submissions that were a) set in Northern California and b) featured a crime and c) involved a cemetery.
I thought there might be a lot of entries about ghouls, ghosts, murders and mayhem, so I chose to approach it from a different angle. There's more than one kind of crime, after all...
