Hey Eve – You asked, what am I going to do to treat myself today? To remind myself that I’m worth it. Well, thank you for asking. It rained pretty heavy near where I live the last few days. The creek near my house is overflowing. Which means, it’s loud. It’s…talking. So, I walked, as P.J. Harvey has said, down by the water. There’s a park bench near a broken neck in the stream, that encourages babbles and breaks when the water is high. I sat. And I listened. Thanks for asking. Thanks for keeping this ball rolling. I gotta believe, sometimes it must feel like work. For those of us who enjoy listening, you’re a high-water mark in a flood of feelings. I hope you had a chance to treat yo’ self today, too.
