I think he is “overreacting” i think is what you call it but it’s his way of entertaining us and what he thinks does so well business-wise. Being more expressive is his way of showing his love for what he watches and why he thinks he does well business-wise. That he is entertaining when he does these things. As a viewer we relate with his emotions that he expresses in an entertaining way even though that is not what we would do if we were to watch an anime episode. But that is my opinion.

For the looking to the other side part, he has his other monitor to check his recording window and audio levels. Even if he looks away, he can still see the anime and subs. I don't know if you watch his other reactions on Patreon, but he has been doing this for a while. Nothing new. I have watched quite a lot of his reactions (Mushoku Tensei, Hunter X Hunter, Bleach, Slime, etc.) I assure you it's not a rewatch. It has never been a rewatch. People just overthink it too much.

2025-02-09 19:20:47 +0000 UTCrecent one piece episodes, mob psycho 100, jjk, demon slayer, elusive samurai, frieren, etc. invincible is one of my favorite shows but it has really below average animation unfortunately. google anime series with a high amount of sakuga cuts, which is the term for a stretch of consistent, high quality animation for certain scenes. almost all sakuga scenes are hand drawn by one or two people for 1000s of frames, it is very cool to see 100s of hours of someones work play out through 1000s of frames within a 1 minute scene
