You know nick I heard you had a bet with aliciaxlife on who could catch up to where the anime currently is first well I got bad news for you sense your using one pace to watch and she is actually watching one piece and not using one pace you technically lost this bet by default and she automatically wins so whatever the prize was or wager was you better give it to her because she won and you lost. And the fact that you started reacting to one piece on September 13th 2022 and got passed up by aliciaxlife who started reacting to one piece on June 3rd 2023 almost 9 months after you started reacting to one piece and she passed you and Grew her lead by like 200 episodes past you is sad and the fact that you have to use one pace to catch up to her just makes it even more sad.

Jinbe is the fucking goat. He barely knows Luffy's crew and he's already a good foundation for the crew. He saved Luffy from his despair of losing Ace and gave him perspective with realizing he still had people who relied on him and here he gave Nami, Chopper, Carrot and especially Brook perspective that they haven't escaped yet. An observation I noticed was that for the whole series, Luffy has only listened and followed 2 people in his life aside from maybe his "family" from childhood and that was Hammock and Jinbe. He tried to follow Hammock's plan during Impel Down, but only got caught because of Buggy. The other time is here when he respected Jinbe to follow Bege's plan. I feel like Luffy only listened to Jinbe because Jinbe saved Luffy. All other times Luffy saved them. Like with Nami and Robin.

well he said hes not gonna start the arc with One Pace. He doesnt wanna use One Pace for it unless he feels it absolutely needs it. I dont think he needs it for Wano since its only slow in certain parts unlike Dressrosa

In my opinion using One Pace for act 1 is not the best viewing experience, since there are slow episodes from Toei to prepare for the amazing episodes so each act will have string of episodes that are not good to compensate for those single episodes that took months to make. Best to use One Pace for slow moments in each act and watch only the highest rated episodes in One Piece. There are around 40 of them in Wano!
