Dang. Those One Pace did huge disservice to Nami and cut off all of her highlight moments. Only reason Luffy could defeat Cracker was because of Nami and would have lost to Cracker if it wasn't for her. It very much doesn't seem that way because of One Pace.

It's honestly so sad how divided his community is over this now. when I heard he was doing an ENTIRE month of one piece, I was so hyped and excited. and everything was great until... chat here and on twitch wouldn't SHUT UP about using one pace. and then he did 2 separate polls and NOT using one pace won, but...then he just decided to use it anyways ??? why? one pace doesn't get rid of the story and characters he was bashing, and that was 99% of his complaints? and now.. I can't even stand to watch it anymore, it cuts some really fun and great moments and some of the cuts are SO noticeable. It's not even about the journey anymore, it's just about being caught up as fast as he can, and he doesn't even want to take a FEW seconds to switch back for the episodes he REALLY should.. so sad to see honestly

but it's ok to watch One Pace it's me who I'm strange with One Piece if it were another work I would have already dropped it I think, Toei has improved a lot but in recent periods there are incredible episodes that are absolutely to watch with incredible animations in the original and many very mediocre eps to not catch up with the manga, But now they have taken a break for 6 months I am very curious to see the new EPs :)

for me you can see a lot the cuts between the scenes on One Pace and many scenes lose meaning in the anime because they are practically manga Tables. The fight are really short and loses the sense of tension and hype to get to a point like an importarte clash against Doffy, I agree that the One piece anime is very far from perfect, and the manga is far more great for me but the music and the world Which is created in the anime only the one with Toei succeeds. I'm very biased because One Piece is my favorite anime and it has had a lot of importance in my life so I can't watch reactions like I used to (I add: with Dressrosa I could be fine which is one of the worst sagas but with Whole Cake or Wano I just can't haha) One Pace doesn't work because in the manga you can stop to look at details or analyze but with the anime? 20 seconds and you forget what happened

Some people just don't have the time to waste on useless episodes and dragging things to no end. Those are by the studio itself and are fillers, I couldn't care less if it's one pace or not as long as it's finally watchable instead of the horrendous slowness. It adds nothing to the show except some silliness which I can live without. I personally love One Pace because I can watch the show without getting bored, and no I don't want the Manga, I need movement and animation otherwise there wouldn't have been a reason to watch any anime, lol.

i understand that the pacing can build up things that pay off really well in the end, but Toei is shameless about spending several episodes showing the same people running down the same hallway, fighting the same person, repeating scenes of NPCs, zooming in on faces for a full minute, etc. i think One Pace is far from perfect, they cut out a lot of cool extra fight scenes or moments that make the anime a good experience vs the Manga (especially luffy vs doffy) but i will never complain about having a running/chase sequence cut from 10+ episodes to 2.

Genuine question. I'm Japanese and a manga reader so I have no idea what the "normal" english one piece anime is like. What makes one pace so different that u cant even watch his reactions? Cuz to me one pace takes the masterpiece of a manga that Oda created, and makes it accessible to people who dont wanna spend thousands of hours on (to me) things that dont need to be dragged out like luffy eating Cracker's biscuits or pika laughing. I thought the reason y the anime is so long is becuz its stretched out to not overtake the manga. I genuinely dont understand y one pace is a bad thing as long as its not skipping canon stuff?

im going to be honest. One pace is good for the pacing, but i do wish they did put some pacing for the hype on some episodes. I watched the original anime, but didnt watch the pacing, cause im a old ass otaku and i do know what is important and what it is not. So, i dont know what scenes that I like it is going to be cut. I believe u must like some of them (cause i noticed while watching u that those parts were pacing). BUT. idgaf eather XD One Piece is the story. End of discussion. (did my best with english. sorry XD)

TBH, Usopp isnt alot of peoples favorite character and even in Egghead he is still the same him being scared is a comedy gag, but unlike Sanji being a simp or Zoro being lost all the times , Usopp doesnt have alot of redeeming traits
