Man i love that backstory of Gai's father. They made it soooo fking well. The fact that he was just a Genin and his opponents were actually the 7 swordsmen, the exact same 7 that Kakashi and a whole shinobi army struggled to defeat lol.. Imo Naruto is best watched when you don’t rush it. Sometimes it could be grueling to wait weeks and enduring the boring filler but in the end it’s all worth it. Fun Fact: When Might Dai was 1v7 all of the Great Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist to allow his sons to escape, he used the 8th gate (red one) and despite being a super weak genin, he killed 4 of them which 2 of them were the previous owners of Zabuza and Kisame’s swords. So if a weak genin like Might Dai can do that much after opening the final gate, imagine how powerful an elite jonin like Might Guy is now that he opened the final gate.
