Rewatching naruto, I'm just now realizing that Rin was the only friend Obito ever had, possibly best friend. She accepted him and cared for him even though he was incompetent as a ninja and was clumsy. I think this is overshadowed because ppl just see it as Obito liking a girl, but it was more than that.

HEAVY SPOILERS There was nothing wrong with kaguyas introduction/story, the problem definitely was/is that people are too attached to Madara he was on screen for almost 10 years to see him go like that, not so much for people who binge-watch the series, I've seen this in other anime/games/movies as well people being mad when their favorite is removed despite in story it makes sense, For example Joel from last of us The Sage of Six paths was mentioned hundreds of times in the story, Kaguya being a mother to the 6 paths Sage wasn't as far stretched as some make it to be Madaras Ending was Perfect, Seeing Madara defeated by Naruto and Sasuke wouldn't have been interesting, Cliche at best . Naruto uses his talk-no-jutsu on Madara, and then he dies. That's the typical end for every villain in this show; at least Madara was never truly defeated unlike others,

An interesting somewhat sad fact about Episode 393, that when Kishimoto was writing this manga chapter was around the time his Father had passed away and Kishimoto was struggling to deal with his father death but also knew he had to write/draw the next manga chapter for Naruto. So because of that his father's death made him decide that he would kill off Naruto and Sasuke to show kinda that there is no hope left. To let the audience know what he is feeling when a favorite character dies

You think Kaguya is a good replacement for Madara? Let me get this clear: I totally respect your opinion but you can't be seriously thinking that Kaguya is a better antagonist than Madara. Ok so first of all we only hear from Madara that the sage of Six paths wrote this stone tablet and I'm totally fine with the Black Zetsu plot in that topic but Madara was way more build up than Kaguya will ever be, oh yeah we got a Kaguya name drop in O.G Naruto oh "Great" never mentioned again for like 8 years. Kaguya wasn't planned. Madara on the other hand had been build up and not just mentioned a few times, he had a way bigger presence than the one you believe was set up to be the final boss and that's not even a discussion that's just a fact. I would say the contrary is the case: Sasuke was used the entire time by Madara and it would seem like he was gonna join and Fight Madara so you needed the two main Charakter against one dude that had a presence like no other character EVEN kishomoto himself acknowledged that Madaras Aura was too big, it's like: He clearly was setting up and building up Madara there's no doubt about that. You can't even compare the two when it comes to presence and Charakter deepness. It's ok to have Kaguya in the story because she was mentioned before and also black zetsu changing the stone tablet but how about Madara absorbing Kaguya instead of Kaguya absorbing Madara. In that way the ACTUAL build up super menace of Shippuden would have had an even greater presence and it would have been a double OMG moment and then Sasuke and Naruto seal away Madara like they did with Kaguya. Way better I'm sorry but Kaguya AS THE FINAL VILLIAN (Not final fight) is just completely random because the people were ready for Madara getting finally beaten by the two Heroes. Just from a writing point of view is the ending bad and just out of nowhere, it was explained afterwards why all this happened I give you that but it's still not better than just letting the fight end we set up FROM THE BEGINNING OF SHIPPUDEN. You have to look into the history in that case: Kishimoto was forced to change the ending due to many reasons. His actual madara ending was way too similar to Aizens ending from bleach so they also pressured him about that but they also wanted that the series continues and so they made it longer.

I only found out after watching Shippuden that some people have a problem with War arc and Kaguya. I still don't understand what people have a problem with, because it doesn't bother me at all. Everything is done brilliantly there and whoever doesn't understand it doesn't understand Naruto. Madara is simply still confident in himself and the path he has taken and thinks he has everything perfectly planned, but as it turned out, he is also just a human being through it all and it also shows beautifully that even he can be deceived and manipulated by someone. Understand Naruto first and then express yourself haters. Naruto is the GOAT of anime.

I understand your frustration at not being able to wait to see what happens next, but the backstory of Shippuden episodes 415 and 416 is not filler. It is one of the most important parts of the story, especially in keeping Kakashi and Obito's feelings together. It's different from the previous ones. This can also be said for the Kakashi Anbu Arc and Itachi Shinden. I'm reminded once again that Naruto is for adults. Because it is difficult for a child's mentality to realize, accept, and wait for the author's intentions. And then there's the content itself, which is insanely dark. Well, but I also think that's okay the first time. Anyway, I've said this before, but even if you finish watching the main NARUTO series this year, you should revisit it many times in the rest of your life.
