At first I was a bit wary of how different it was from SA2 and yes, Jim Carrey is WILD but the moments they want to hit hard like Shadow's last push, hit HARD! It's a family film but has more than enough for us 30-something Sonic nuts.

2025-01-22 20:43:03 +0000 UTCThe metal sonic reveal was bad imo. His reveal felt like a distraction for the MAIN REVEAL which was Amy. He just felt like some random bs robot that was created to fight sonic when what he actually is, his arch enemy, when he appears everybody should be shaking in their boots[ literally ]. But, Amy just beat the fuck out of all of them easy willy - nilly like some weak ass robots. The movie was a 6/10 for me, it def felt like the weakest out of the 3 imo because the middle of the movie was horrendously cringe and boring, even Jim carrey felt cringe and boring. Despite this, the movie featured the coolest scenes in the entire franchise and prolly one of the coolest in all of cinema. If it wasn't for the weak middle part of the movie, it would've been a 10/10.

I played the old Sonic games and occasionally watched the show when it aired on tv like 20 years ago but after that dude, I just stayed clear
