So u dont know bout the names. All are german. Frieren means being cold, stark means strong, fern means far, lügner means liar, flamme means flame and so on if youre interested in what the future names of this series mean just translate them into english from german. Every name fits the charakter thats also a thing what i like about Frieren.

Not my personal favorite anime but it’s a unique story with great themes, fun characters plus insane animation and music. I can easily see why people would have it as their favorite. Everyone’s got their own opinions anyways, some people hate AoT, some people think Jjk s2 animation was bad, and some people think “my little sister can’t be this cute” is peak. So it’s not about their mental state, it’s just about their personal preferences

Im down for a Frieren stream if it means we get more episodes sooner, but at the same time I really hope he doesn't let stream distract him too much. Frieren is one of those shows that you really have to pay attention to dialogue and little animation hints on screen, so I feel like he's quite liable to miss things with chat interactions. Hopefully he pauses it when he talks to them, or at least just has emote only mode on for it

It’s a little bit of both, I’ve noticed some slight changes in subtitles but mostly it’s the black bar, it feels like it gets in the way of some scenes, crunchyroll does some nice artistic stuff as well with their subs, E.G with the time statements at the beginning of the episodes, and subs being coloured based on the persons speaking hair colour. Not a huge issue of course but peak deserves peak viewing experience and thought Nick should be aware 💪🏼
