FMI. Dressrosa, ending of WCI and first half of Wano were notorious for that. Dressrosa was the worst. I was watching it weekly too. It was horrendous.

If these episodes are considered filler by Nick, then He is gonna have a field day with One piece for the next 500 episodes, where 70% of one episode will be : introduction, flashback, recalling previous episodes, a lot of still frames with people looking shocked, more flashbacks- then the ending. I remember when I used to watch OP week from week and practically getting 4 -6 minutes of new content.- that was hell. At least the fights are epic ( 1 fight per 3 months- 12 episodes ). Also after ending the arc with Aizen I would recommend to go straight to 1000 YBW Bleach.

Some important info you'll need to remember: Soi fons shikai's ability: two hits, one kill- when she stings the enemy in the same spot twice, they die. Hollow evolution: Regular hollow: The next r a group of menos grande- Gillians: r made of from a group of normal hollows consuming each other to form one huge hollow. They r the huge black hollows with masks. Adhujas: evolve from gillians, they r smaller than gillians and smarter than them too. Vasto lorde: the final evolution of hollows. They are human in shape and size. When hollows evolve from their og hollow, they need to continue to consume other hollows or else they will devolve back. But when a hollow reach vasto lorde evolution, they are able to stay like that without consuming any hollows. Kommomura, the dog captain, and kaname tosen, the black subordinate of aizens, used to be good friends. Arrancars are what hollows become once they remove their masks. Whenever a hollow removes their mask, they generally look human, but not all of them that LOOK human, are vasto lorde. They get a lot stronger after removing their masks as well. Yammy was revealed to be the 0 espada some time ago. I might add to this comment if anything comes to mind.
