That was a monster that attacked the herbalist when she was a kid, and I don't believe any demons have attacked Fern when she was a kid. I think she said she was a war orphan, so just other humans attacked her country/city.

When everyone is begging for shounen shows itβs probably a breath of fresh air. The shounen shows are great too but it often involves different variations of βhypeβ vs these story driven animes IMO.
