My Hero Academia - 7x15 and 7x16 (UNCUT REACTION)

I love how they kicked in with a variation of Makayla Phillip's song there. Technically making it the third time the series used it (Eri Rescue arc, Heroes Rising movie, and now this!)

Chris Gama

Lady Nagant is like one of my favorite character designs in the show! I dunno why her character just looks so damn cool, the color of her hair, her gun arm! So freaking bad-ass!

Chris Gama

Watched all of these except Naruto and I have to agree, MHA is just in its own realm for me, a massive part of it is the music which makes it a ton more memorable. And the massive character development episodes back to back in this season especially have been beautiful to see. I never thought anything could beat demon slayer when it comes to shounen for me (possibly HxH), but the last two seasons of MHA have blown it out of the water for me. Don't get me wrong I still love demon slayer and their animation is unmatched but it still leaves a lot to be desired in the story telling / character development department for me. And AoT just went downhill for me and I was glad when it ended.

How can we not love him, he tried to save someone falling and ended up killing him and now he's coming back at the perfect moment to redempt for his failure to avoid them to fall, and it's not only this aspect who hit hard this scene mean so much things and that's crazy cause we only saw him for a couple of episodes lol, MHA is insanely good at that

Kimetsu

The Gentle Criminal cap makes my cry so badly... I feel genuine love for that character... It's the meaning of redemption :')... I'll buy a figure of him for sure

Fake HSGO

Bro doesn't know what butterfly effect is😭

Erik Morrington

LeverageL1

Yo nick you should react to the Terraria Calamity Mod OST

fiat_ow

And that background music for when Gentle Criminal was on, it was β€œMight+U” by Makayla Phillips πŸ”₯

Abigail Jerry

YESSSIRRRRR πŸ”₯ MHA really is gasss. haters gonna hate πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ

The moment I thought we needed a hacker I remembered La Brava and oh god what an entrance for both her and Gentle. This comeback was so fucking beautiful. I'm so glad they're back along with Lady Nagant 😭😭😭❀️❀️❀️❀️

Mels

yall are wild lmao

Christian Clark

can't wait for him to see*

VibinJesus

Did you realize in the last episode some heteromorph told lock-rock that he dont know the feelings of being hatred by others cause of there appearance. Then camera switch to him cause he knows exactlly how they feel cause he is black skined!

SE

Bro I was so happy that lady Nagant made a reappearance, best girl

no u uwu

How does Nick sometimes miss important details but not miss hilarious shit like Nezu's brother lmaooo. Anyway, the return of Gentle and La Brava is sooo awesome

THE GOAT HAS RETURNED LETS GOOOO

Gentle GOAT lets goooooo

THE GOAT IS BACKKKKKKKKK

Elementisphere

The talk about romance was about their crushes on Deku.

Martin Fink

Missed the times when nick used to actually read the subtitles πŸ”₯πŸ’―

According to my Anilist account Season 6 is ranked at number 17 out of around 200 so yeah, when season 7 ends that's probably a good place

Kevin Diouf

Gentle’s original mistake was failing to save someone from falling, here he managed to save the entire fortress from falling. From the beginning his initial crime was his body moving on its own to save someone, the thing that β€œall heroes have in common.” Godtier.

e10

GENTLE HERO IS BACK!!!

One Smore

Yes but some in how much, in 100 differents seasons it's a lot so not that important, but in 15 it's a nice place for those 2 seasons. Would you put them into a top 10 seasons ever ?

Kimetsu

It shows the line when he says β€œgently superlover”. I imagine it’s some error with how they timed the subtitles

e10

They are all part of it, especially the Pain arc which is my favorite, I purposely wrote "SOME of the best" not "ARE THE best"

Kevin Diouf

its " ...the heart grow fonder" as shown together with the "Gently Superlover" move.

Justin

can't wait to see him Ochaco pop the fuck off

Christian Clark

Yess! Gentle Criminal is back! The best villain and hero ( for me ), the frase between gentle and la brava was " With absence our love is even stronger "

Enzo Jesus Aguilera Aros

Demon Slayer S2 ? JJK S2 ? Naruto vs Pain Arc ? AoT S4 ?

Kimetsu

Season 6 and 7 are some of the best seasons I've watched in all of anime

Kevin Diouf

For me at least I often need multiple rewatches to fully process all that happens around it

Nathan Mathews

the missing subtlitle sentence is probable absence makes love grow stronger. You know la bravas love can make quirks go super and the more she loves someone the stronger the quirk gets.

Northblade

Each episode he regrets the 8/10 more and more

Tysado

I literally had the same reaction with these two episodes. The shoji story had me on tears and the next episode I was so hyped that I was moving around watching.

Shiro

Reaction videos are honestly amazing for this. Sometimes you may not realize how great something is until someone else points it out. You can miss a lot of stuff on your first watch since it goes by so fast, but you’re able to pay more attention to the meaning when seeing someone react to it

Keegan Enzor

β€œLook at how many people are behind me!” and panning to an empty hall has the same vibe of Eren saying β€œThis is freedom”

Keegan Enzor

I don't know if you remember, but in season 6 when the prison breaks occurred, they said seven prisons were attacked and 6 had villains escaped. It was hinted out back in season 6 that something went down at the seventh prison since it had no escaped convicts

Fallen Crest

Gentle Criminal and Lady Nagant were two of the coolest minor "villains" they could've brought back, and I'm curious what it'd look like if they somehow brought Overhaul back with his quirk too, but the situation is fucked enough as it is lmao

Kleed44

as i'm watching your reaction i'm realizing it's way better on second watch

meiikao

If I get one more "Playback error" while in the first 10 minutes, imma commit great crimes

Evan Thompson

Ultimately the episode (and the manga/anime in general) is talking about how the actions everyone takes has consequences. On the surface level , you have the heat and cold from Dabi and Shoto’s fight affect the temperature of the surrounding air, causing a storm over Japan and affecting the jet stream currents that eventually make their way to the US causing storms on the western side of the country that would not have happened without the fighting in Japan. And the choice of Star and American hero and the work of the business class students to stream the action led to the meteorologist in the US to take a stand against AFO which will have an affect on the US citizens watching. On a deeper level, the choice of Shimura to protect her son led to him abusing his family and his son psyche breaking. The seemingly small choice of the grandma and everyone who ignored young Tenko Shimura led to him becoming Tomura Shigaraki. The point AFO was trying to make when he said he had all those contingency plans was basically him manipulating the butterfly effect to his own benefit. On the other side of things, the decision for AFO giving his little brother the power that eventually became OFA is another example of the butterfly effect leading to Toshinori who had the idea of there needing a symbol of peace to achieve that goal. That led Deku to make the decisions he made leading to the current story. All the times the older hero’s talk about paving a way for the future heroes to make better decisions are also part of that same theme.

Wild Wesley

The butterfly effect is the if a butterfly flaps its wings will it cause a storm far away. Essentially it’s the theory that one small seemingly insignificant action can affect someone else to act, which will affect someone else and so on until it leads to a big action. It’s a theory that is explored a lot in choice based story games like Until Dawn and the original Life is Strange game. The small choices you make in the game affect the outcome of the story and which ending you get.

Wild Wesley
