I've always been told the war arc is amazing EVEN BY PPL THAT DON'T LIKE NARUTO. It is AN OBJECTIVE FACT that it is widely regarded as one of the best war arcs in anime history. Again, you just outed yourself and proved my point by stating that the "pacing and writing" was the issue which you only think that way because of your lack of attention span, lol. There is a lot of dialog and a lot of fights between characters that are not that popular which can make it a little disinteresting at times but they are still fun af to watch. The only reason I see hate towards the war arc is because of the way it ended by doing something to a VERY BELOVED CHARACTER which makes perfect sense IMO but ppl just got mad about it because ofc and that is another reason why "the sales went down". I wont say anything else because it will be spoilers. This is the only place where I've seen consistent hate towards this arc, literally 90% of the ppl I've talked to about this arc has said it's amazing, some even said it's the best arc.[ keep in mind some of them did not even like the anime in the first place ]

And it's normal for content creators to make content and delay so it regularly comes out on set dates. I obviously see that's not what you enjoy, but it's common practice

Lack-of attention span isnt needed to discern that in terms of both writing quality and general pacing this Arc is one of the poorest in Naruto. Back when the manga was on-going Naruto took a nose-dive in sales during this arc, even when the Anime was coming out viewer ratings were not nearly as consistent as the other arcs before FKS. Yes it has hype moments, probably some of the most hype/iconic moments in Battle-shonen. But in all honesty this arc isnt all that in terms of writing and overall quality.
