Especially since Nick is very judgfull, and 1 ep would be ultra confusing for him.(Not that the whole show Isn't confusing) But in the long run I'd love to see his reaction to at least Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari. Or start with the movies(Kizumonogatari) like I did, and loved it. Sorry for any errors in my english🙏

2024-09-19 23:07:44 +0000 UTCWell, tbf monogatari series has a lot of very weird and Ecchi/fanservice moments, much "worse" than some panty shots (which there is quite an amount in the 100 episodes it has). However, if you don't mind that, you are in for a ride, it's one of the most unique anime out there, visually and with it's story. The series is just 95% talking with stunning visuals on the screen, but it's so entertaining. Also, the writting is amazing, especially when it comes to characters.

Even the example I suggested, Utena, is quite dark and disturbing at times; or let's see... Banana Fish, Natsume's Book of Friends or Please Save My Earth, all a Shoujo, yet vastly different.
