He needed to significantly weaken Tomura before the final battle and he needed to explain why no other countries were willing or able to send aid to Japan, but much like most of the problems I have with the latter part of the story, he goes from setting things up well and paying them off later to starting to show awesome moments with no set up and showing flashbacks to explain or attempt to make us care. I agree that Star dying made no impact on me and it’s completely because aside from a one off line from All Might Arcs ago about going to train in America and making a friend, she’s not set up at all. Cool character that was wildly underutilized with an OP power.

Horikoshi has some stunning art and it's a shame it can't be captured in the anime properly most of the time. Star was a real one. For a movie, it would actually have to be a long-ass movie, possible tho. I personally think we wil get a seons tho, coz otherwise it doesnt make sense why they made seaosn 7 only 21 eps, coz the movie would actually benefit if they made a longer season, coz the way it is the movie would have to be quite long.
