this season is a true gem, when i was anime only, watching this, i enjoyed every second of it. the ‘dark hero’ arc is such a satisfying turn of events and it allowed this series to fully transition into the mature state it’s currently in, season 7 will be a true journey!

The movie doesn't really pay a part in the overall story, sure the movie characters make small cameos but it doesn't effect the overall story. Unless the "your next" serves as a tie up from everything that happened in the time skip then it would just be another movie.
