Not enough people mention the callback in Iida's line when he grabs Izuku's hand. He says "Meddling when you don't need to is the essence of a hero." All Might said that to Izuku when he lost to Todoroki during their match to comfort him, and then Izuku later said that to Iida during the Stain arc when Iida asked why Izuku was involving himself in his business. When Iida used that line against Izuku, that's why Izuku finally started to crack. That's why it's such a beautiful moment. These past two episodes overall are beautifully written.

Also, he didn't notice Ida's callback and it would be very interesting. The fact of Uraraka thinking about Toga at that precise moment when she talks about smiles and heroes' purpose is also interesting knowing what happens next. I think I get more or less the intention but could you explain it to me please; I ask you that bc it's obvious to me that you have deep character understanding. Imo this manga is so well-written, it pains me how much it's underrated. Everything seems perfect to me. Even tho some arcs may be boring (not for me tho) they have a meaning. MHA is a masterpiece and I want to understand everything about it's plot and characters. By reading you I feel like I am understanding more Horikoshi's intentions. I swear what a genius author.

The subs are definitely bad, but this is an accurate translation. The official manga translation even uses NPC. As Kenny Vu said, he literally says "mob". They're all interchangeable, and you're the one arguing semantics when no information was lost in translation. People know what the word "mob" means. The "original sub" you're talking about is probably Crunchyroll, and they're certainly not the people known for accurate translations anyway. One of their recent shows had subs so bad people thought it was AI generated. And even then, your point was that it "ruins" his character growth and makes "no sense" when they used a more accurate word that means the same thing. That is just ignorance.

I have a lot to say right now. First of all the way Bakugou says like "Where is your smile?" and "You don't look like a hero right now". Because they both admired All Might their whole life, someone who saved people's heats with his smile, whose smile gave people hope. And Deku wanted to be a hero like this, not just because he has to be inheritor of One For All, the Simbol of hope, like All Might, but because of who he is. And you can tell Deku was losing himself and who he wanted to be. Next there's that touching scene where Iida's using against Deku his own words from the time Iida was obsessed with vengeance and forgot what kind of hero he wanted to be. The way Iida grabbed Deku's hand is also a call back to that time when Bakugou was kidnapped in S3 and it was Kirishima who grabbed Bakugou's hand during escape. It's like Kirishima is Bakugou's best friend and Iida is Deku's best friend, even tho a bond Bakugou and Deku share feels deeper (at least for me). Their relationship are so complicated and messed up in some way, but their bond is still stronger than with anyone else. Subs are not great but this scene with Bakugou being so honest about how he feels still makes me emotional. I remember reading this scene in manga for the first time. I could NOT believe what I'm seeing and it hit me harder than anime, mostly because of details they couldn't highlight the way they did in manga. I remember in manga you could see how Deku's dead look is going away, like he still looked like he's gonna break any moment, but when Bakugou apologized and called him by his name for the first time since they were little kids, you could see the light in his eyes coming back. I'm sobbing every time I see this scene, there's so much character development in Bakugou since episode 1, I can't help myself but cry every time. Because of this character growth Bakugou's my favorite character. He doesn't have like classic tragic anime backstory that makes you sympathize with him and just go "Oh, I guess this is a valid reason to behave like that, I could give him a pass". The thing is - Bakugou IS guilty for his actions, and he knows it was unacceptable behavior, he know there's no one to blame but himself. It was his own pride that made him deny his jealousy and insecurities that he tried to suppress and hide, and which eventually turned into uncontrollable anger. I love how openly he admitted he was wrong and apologized. It was very mature of him, especially compared to season 1 Bakugou. And I love how this wasn't instant change in his character too, but slow development and growth through 5 seasons or almost year in their time. Because you need time to admit to yourself what your problem is, especially after years of denial. And it take some time to change something in yourself, because it's hard to get rid of your old habits, your toxic way of thinking. It was really sweet of Bakugou to say "ever since you inherited One For All, you did nothing wrong, but there's walls you can't climb alone. What you can't do, leave it to us". Who could've thought Bakugou will reassure Deku that he didn't fail as an One For All's successor just because he couldn't bear a burden he shouldn't have bear all alone in the first place. Good job, Uraraka, great speech, made me sobbing again. I loved the "who will save a hero, when they need help" because it reminds you that heros are only humans. They have their ups and downs, they need rest, they are not invincible no matter how hard they trying to look so. Heros are humans and humans make mistake. And Deku isn't even a pro hero. He's 16 years boy (mb even 15, I forgot) and even tho he's super powerful, he's just a kid, who had too much responsibility on his shoulders and people needed to see it. This is probably the longest comment I have ever wrote in english but I guess I just really love and respect the person Bakugou became so I couldn't shut up about this episode... I hope you'll read it, Nick, I love you, man

I hope that Nick listens to the large majority of his Patrons in the comments and that it will have an effect since season 7 is still going on weekly - meaning he is still recording MHA reactions. I'm not asking him to change his content or anything, but like for over a month now the comments section for every MHA video has a substantial number of people saying the subs are wrong/bad (which they are), and it clearly matters since this hasn't been the case when he was first doing MHA reactions for example. Not everyone was happy with the subs at first of course, but the majority of comments weren't about how the subs are ruining the experience like they are now consistently on every video. I can't believe the subs are so weird. It almost feels like bakugos character development. When he says "now that you can do anything the rest of us look like mobs" it's not as recognizeable as the usual line "everyone looks like extras" which intently shows that he has actively reflected on how he's acted in the past when he called people extras before. It's a weird way to say it regardless of interchangeability and doesn't feel like an as pointed recall.
