And if it does end up being watched at some point I am confident that it'll be gone into without that many existing expectations... the opening reaction was great. Alicization (we can call those seasons 3 and 4) might just be the best of it, but to those who never get there Season 1's first half is so promising, and such a wonderful watch. Absolutely iconic.

2024-08-22 16:14:26 +0000 UTCBleach forsure is the weak link out of the Big 3, But TYBW anime has been one of the best anime arcs from the big 3 and if you argue that it's pure copium and bias against Bleach, I very much disliked the manga ending of Bleach but the anime is revising a lot of moments and scenes significantly improving on the source material with the help of Kubo, It's obv the series was rushed to a conclusion due to Shonen Jump's pressure on Kubo and he's trying to fix those mistakes through the anime adaptation. Based on your reaction to all the animes other than Steins Gate you're just a big ol hater and whiner, Womp Womp.

Ofc it has god tier openings but very very few good charakter (most of them are just annyoing and suck to be honest) and the whole show has like 3 - 5 good fights and moments in the whole show, watching all of naruto and bleach fillers would have been 100000x better at least ah and BC story telling also sucks

Bleach and SAO are obviously going to win because they are the longest running animes with the most episodes and hence the most popular fanbase. Plus he's already watching Naruto and One Piece which take up the bulk of his time. I love these shows too but I always appreciated his reactions to widely acclaimed and shorter animes like Code Geass and now 86. I believe that nick is aware of his more cultured audience who is interested in more unique shows like, MiA, Steins;Gate, Vinland etc (I fell in love with his reactons for vinland) and I think he still tries to please that side of his audience too, by rarely reacting to cultured shows (86 at the moment). I just hope that when he finishes the big three and caught up to the latest one piece episodes he won't stop reacting to anime, because I could imagine him doing that, since he those anime are his main income.

I read SAO back in the day, I PREORDERED THE LIGHTNOVELS, SAO got slightly better in the end but its mediocre anime, written poorly, carried by how popular it was back in the day. Ive read the LN and watched the show three times. Its not that good. Its 2 seasons of mid with the 3rd having slightly better story telling and animation. Im very familiar with Reki Kawahara's work.

According to Patreon, the last episode he watched was episode 273. Excluding all the filler episodes, he would have 81 episodes left to watch (including Parts 1 & 2 of the TYBW). If he sticks to watching only 4 episodes per week, it would take him 5 months and 1 week to finish. However, this timeline could be shortened since I remember Nich mentioning that he might dedicate weeks to streaming his reactions to Bleach TYBW, which would be a win-win situation for both Bleach fans and those who want him to react to other anime sooner rather than later. I just need Nich to react to Made In Abyss someday (AND NOT ON STREAM 😰)
