Shigaraki is right, izawa is as cool as the come. If you watch back too, you see the first time shigaraki was coming at him he pulled the blade out too but deku intercepted shogaraki first. Excellent fucking detail work by horikoshi.

When he’s watching him fight Shigaraki in the sky and destroy his body, he’s not “jealous” or “angry.” He’s scared, and it’s written all over his face. I hope Nick acknowledges your comment in the next video so that he has a better understanding of Bakugo’s character and growth.

While talking, he really says to him - "At the root of it, he doesn't think about himself. I'm sure he'd always been that way, and he's still like this now when he can do more. That's always felt weird to me and made me want to stay away from him. But I couldn't understand my own weakness, so I put those thoughts aside, and bullied him." He's reflecting on his actions - the weakness he talks about is his own, which he's starting to understand at this point.
