I kind of blame Nagato's father for what happened to his family. The leaf ninja were just here for food and they didn't expect any civilians given it was a war zone, therefore mistaking them for enemies. The family had a better chance of survival if Nagato's dad didn't immediately engage in a fight with them, therefore not triggering everyone's flight or fight. Still sucks though

@Yazan Qawas That's literally what OP just said: "To make you understand it". AKA, to sympathize. Sypathizing doesn't mean you support Nagato's plan or actions. OP is right, the audience is not supposed to agree with Nagato's methods at all... they are just meant to understand where he is coming from. It is impossible to justify Nagato's plan since it achieves only a temporary fake "peace" at the cost of the lives of countless innocent people. He has also killed so many innocents along the way, often killing people as collateral who had nothing to do with achieving the goals of his plan. All of this should be obvious considering in just a couple episodes Nagato will completely give up on his flawed plan for peace and entrust in Naruto's answer for world peace.

See I’m not trying to be negative but I actually disagree. I think the narrative became increasingly convoluted and powerscaling became increasingly plot-dependent rather than consistently scaling each character. It was a lot harder to enjoy Naruto Shippuden after this because it really feels like Kishimoto was having a hard time with inspiration.

Lifehack for you to get well faster, that we do in my country (czechia). Prepare a really hot bath, meanwhile make a hot tea and put one shot of rum into it, once both is done go take a bath inside of the hot water and drink the tea while inside the bath, you will hella sweat and stay there for like 20 minutes atleast, once 20 minutes pass and you finish your tea, go to bed and take a nap. I do it all the time when I get sick and it always helps me. Get well soon Nick!

They show u the backstory of villains just to make u understand it but not to support it. No matter how u understand their pain, there is no massacre could be justified. IDK u really mean it when u said u 100% on pains side, or u just make fun while u stream. Pain is a so well written villain, but u need to understand he is wrong with his own evil standard of justice.
