Yeah, Japanese doesnt really have stressed syllables like English. They use pitch accent instead. So both midoRIya and miDORiya (like in the dub) are kinda equally wrong, but you can't really avoid it if you're saying them in English

It's not weird for quirks to have their downsides,they probably just think that Deku's power is strong but it comes at a high price

Don't get me wrong, these kind of 'breather' episodes can be entertaining for sure, but if nothing of significance at all happens in them (story progrrssion, critical character interactions/developments, etc..) they are technically filler.

It's the connection they'll never make without more information or hints, as the nature of OFA clearly defies the rules of MHA quirk system. The latter is something none of the characters know, therefore that connection between Deku and OFA is never made by them.

Say his quirk was controlling energy that can be channeled internally or externally, that would explain the super strength and the energy whips. They’ve likely come to a similar conclusion. Maybe they should question it more but if Deku told them it’s part of the same quirk then they have no reason to believe their classmate is lying.

Everyone in this world including class A students know that a person can have only one quirk or a combination of powers that have the same base. Like if Deko got superspeed then it wouldn't be suspicious because his quirk is basically super strength and super strength can give you superspeed, both are related. But him getting a total new power like black stuff coming from his hands which can't be at all related to his super strength and no one even got curious. They were all like "nice new move you got Deku". As if they all see ppl with multiple quirk everyday right? Surely Deku isn't someone special
