Although I think you could also understand it to mean that One for All is too strong to steal, especially without the knowledge from season five and therefore not even noticing the spoiler. But of course everyone on the internet knew what the sentence meant and therefore spoilers blah blah....

Remember the show is My Hero Academia, they're kids in school, they have to show the kids growing and learning and progressing. Thats part of the story, not halting it. I like the idea of One for All having multiple functions, it makes sense because as All Might said, when it is passed on, that person cultivates it and makes the power their own. But if that person already had a quirk, it only makes sense to use One For All to cultivate their quirk with it and make it that much more powerful. Why though that the past users of OFA never really revealed themselves to the other users before Midoriya is fascinating though, like they were waiting just for the right time. But imagine if like All Might was able to use some of the other quirks too?

2024-07-09 06:23:16 +0000 UTCI hear that the mangaka is a huge fan of Spider-Man, so thats why he came up with Blackwhip for Deku as one of his One for All quirks, not to be a complete rip off of Spider-Man but to give him something he can use to swing with and to grab onto things from a distance, etc. Not sure how true that is but still, it wouldn't shock me if so.

I left a reminder on the last upload too, so if you saw that then just ignore this bit. But, be sure to Watch the next Movie Right After Episode 12! So, before the christmas episode. 2024-07-08 16:11:45 +0000 UTCI never paid much attention to Uraraka's crush on Deku since it was such a minor point to the story, but it was around this point that I started rooting for her. I think seeing her putting herself in danger to save Deku instead of having Deku be the one to save her like it is done in other animes made me start to enjoy it. Deku is the hero of the story, but I like that there are times where he can't do it by himself and needs help from his friends. I guess I really like the teamwork we get to see sometimes cause we get awesome moments like in these episodes or in the second movie when Deku and Bakugo fought side by side. Also, episode 16 is a filler episode. It is designed as a prologue chapter to the 3rd movie. The third movie can be watched around episode 18 or the end of season 5. I would watch it before the end of the season though since by the end of the season, you'll probably want to jump right into season 6.

I remember this set people with speculation of what the other quirks could be and finding them out little by little as episodes progressed. Also the growth of Ochako jumping into the fray to save Deku officially changed her from always being saved to saving him. That's why people were saying there are important moments in this season and it's building you to the chaos that is coming.

The movie did NOT spoil this moment at all, yes there was a hint to it, but 99.9% of people who watched the movie, Nick included, had NO idea Deku would end up getting multiple quirks, the hint was so vague in the movie it was simply not a spoiler. And the movie would simply make no sense if he had Blackwhip during it, you really think Deku would resort to giving up one for all before even ATTEMPTING to use black whip during that fight? Nope. The movie is set before this arc, plain and simple

I just think it wouldve been a really cool plot point to have deku lose control and hurt her when hes so close to her, wouldve led to some crazy character development from Deku, and Ochako, and how the teachers wouldve had to cover it up otherwise deku would likely be expelled, it wouldve been such a serious and insane moment Still great otherwise but it wouldve been very interesting if it went that route IMO
