But anyway, the story goes the boy (Momotaro) is born from a peach and he sets out on a journey and along the way is accompanied by a dog, a monkey, and a pheasant as they go out to defeat the ogres on Ogre Island. You'll see a lot of references to this in One Piece, particularly Wano arc. The 3 Admirals also seem to symbolize the Dog (Akainu as his name contains the characters for dog), Monkey (Kizaru as his name contains characters for monkey) and Pheasant (Aokiji as his name contains characters for Pheasant).
