This one you're going into is a mini arc, then we'll transition into two others that are a lot slower paced but, they're like breadcrumb trails to the later plot, so don't feel discouraged if they seem to drag on a little! I still think you'll really like them, you seem to really be enjoying this show and I'm always glad for that 🥰💖

2024-05-29 17:14:38 +0000 UTCI am one of the people that do enjoy this arc, but yeah I agree that the pacing is all off. It’s drawn out a bit too much in both the anime and the manga. Usually when i rewatch it I just skip around to my favorite parts. ETA: the pacing is a bit off in a lot of ways after this arc. It feels like the story is rushing to get to the end in some places where it feels like things happen out of nowhere for shock value and then we get small explanatory flashbacks, instead of building up to things and seeing the process like we did in the first half of the story. I still like the story, i just wish we got more of it

In my experience Naruto and MHA are the expert of making emotional deaths of side characters, the authors are somehow able to make a death matter evne if it aint in the main cast. Howeverrrr... the next few episodes are gonna be very chill, so be ready to be fed some random storylines of the kids... I personally aint a big fan of these, but I know a few people who enjoy them a lot..so I guess fair..tho I do wish the upcoming arc was a bit shorter.

A bit redundant but the next half of the season will seem slow but just have fun. Also along with everyone they actually have dedicated episodes (I think an arc in s5) where the villains are fleshed out and you find out their backstory.
