For another top tier sports anime like Haikyuu watch Ping Pong the animation. It's never going to win a poll, kind of a hidden gem. Only 11 episodes but a master piece imo.

I’m so excited for the movie. I’ve been watching Haikyuu since day 1. I’m definitely biased because I played volleyball for well over half my life, and had I chosen a different path in life I could have played professionally, but Haikyuu is number one for me. It’s so good! I wish I had the money to drive up to manhattan to see the movie with you but driving over 1100 miles is a bit much even for me.
