Season one ends with their fast attack getting blocked on game point, season 2 ends with them coming back and overcoming the block with their new fast attack, then the end of this season ending with them stopping their own attack the same way theirs was. With some thunder running, zone movement shooting and shit. Haikyuu is REAL. Everything about Haikyuu is real, from their emotions to their movement. Sure, there are some exaggerated moments but it’s not impossible. In fact, pro players do these kind of play in reality. Pro Volleyball players watches Haikyuu and even says that this is anime understands real volleyball. Let’s see if pro football players will say the same about Blue Lock and Kuroko 🥴

My favorite is the callback to their defeat in the first season, where they learned that their quick attack was not invincible. They used this knowledge to defeat the Miya Twin's attack in a similar manner.

From the callback to "let's take it easy" at the training camp to the flashback to Hinata just wanting to spike, the growth is clear and incredibly emotional. Such a strength for the Miya Twins, who go above their limits yet again with the minus attack from the back row. But also a strength for Kageyama and Hinata, who have been in the same position as the Twins: a minus tempo attack from the back, with the pressure of the game at its highest, just like in their first match vs. Oikawa right down to the dialogue ("This position, this timing, the angle, it's perfect"). And they shut the Twins down, just like what happened to them. Perfect circle moment. Peak cinema.

Sure, he's talented and skilled, but Atsumu *WORKED* for the skill and talent he has currently and that people who automatically think he's a prodigy and didn't work hard are wrong and lost from the start. That they'd never amount to anything. Looks like Nick might've missed as well what Asahi was doing with his new spike. Asahi was timing his approach so that by the time the blockers start falling, Asahi himself just reached his highest point of his jump and either goes above the block or a wipe

And what Tsuki’s monologue “Speed is a very, very strong weapon. It’s charming and cool. But it’s not invincible. They knew that better than anyone.” brought the whole scene to another complete different level, as Kageyama and Hinata lost the last point in Inter-high because their minus tempo was being blocked by Kindaichi. And now they learnt from it and won by blocking the same attack. Haikyu is really my favourite sports anime with so many crazy moments and strong connections and echoes with previous episodes 🔥🔥🔥
