I swear to god, this anime just hits different. I have watched it over and over and over again, and I get just as excited, just as emotional, just as into it every single time. No other anime has that same rewatchability for me except maybe some parts of Hunter x Hunter and Case Closed. Also for that point that confused you after Yamaguchi’s first serve, Karasuno got the point because despite the other team blocking the ball, they touched the net, which you can’t do. It’s a net violation. That’s why in the shot after Hinata hits the ball straight down for the first time after jumping too far forward, he strains to stop himself from touching the net before the whistle blows. The net is the enemy to middle blockers everywhere.
