It is different with anime, as the original creator works together to create the series... so Frank is right. A dub from any language will never be better than the original in an anime, it is only for convenience that someone may think otherwise. The original Japanese voice actors fit the characters' personalities well and make them more believable. The subbed version also keeps the cultural references and wordplay intact, which adds to the enjoyment of the series. Plus, the subtitles provide a more accurate translation and don't change the story like dubs sometimes do. The voice acting in the subbed version is also generally considered to be better because the Japanese voice actors are more experienced and skilled. And overall, the subbed version of DB is preferred by many more fans because it feels more authentic and true to the original intention of the creators.

The only reason people like it is because of nostalgia.

Watching dub is a much better way to causally watch something. I really only watch anime when I am eating or working out and that would be impossible if I had to read the subtitles the whole time.

A copy will always be inferior to the original. Imagine saying watching the Avengers in dub is superior to the english version.

Also dub and its screaming is very good + american ost in Z is legendary DBS in sub, many VA's like F. Trunks, beerus, jiren, Black, Zamasu sound better in sub + the OST's are identical to dub expect for the singing part which is cringe in english anyways.
