Half the time I didn't know what land mass or even element it was. Mountain? Wave? Lava? Cloud? Idfk. I was happy they kept the movement style. But a LOT of people hate on the animation in general and point to this episode

2023-05-11 22:55:00 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed the animation in the first one, I take the weird animation as how Asta percieved the battle, as he says he felt like he fought in a dream. What I don't like is the continuity errors, two in particular; Asta finally taking out Ladros with Black Meteor(Asta has no black arm when slicing through him for the final shot in the battle) and when Asta is finally feeling the pain of the battle, having a black wing after the black stuff disappeared. Continuity errors are what really grind my gears in show; I can usually find an enjoyable perspective about everything else deemed subpar by others.

Also, you're gonna start saying "this fight tops every previous fight" a number of times as of now. Every arc after this are black clovers best (sea temple gave plenty of development so there's an argument there)

2023-05-11 13:14:16 +0000 UTCLet me put the record straight, episode 63 is *not* a style choice, it's one of the most understaffed episodes of the show and that's why it looks unfinished, because it is. They did great with what resources they had but imagine if they had more time and an actual budget, the fight would look amazing. There is a blueray version also which improved some parts of the fight if anyone is interested.
