People "cried" over a stupid looking character in a movie that technically wasn't even truly introduced until that movie cause normies just want lame animation and music and don't care about good story telling and writing. They dickride anime like they do with this shit and AOT. AOT fell off after the timeskip cause everything is rushed and the characters come in last minute and shit is conveniently placed for stuff to happen. Even the ending sucked ass. The normie dickriders don't care as long as they get horny off of the animation and "hype".
