I was one of the comments calling out his jokes. It's less about being passionate about HxH (it's an okay show to me) and more it just being weird for a minute there that he was making sexual/pedo jokes *constantly* any time Gon and Killua were on screen. Glad he addressed this tbh.

Yo, pausing and talking is like, the biggest step possible for reactors... For some reason its so hard for reactors pause during reactions to speak, or maybe they dont want/like it, or maybe they do timer reactions so it fucks up the synchrony whenever they pause... But its surprising how simply pausing and speaking and not speaking through dialogue is something that seems to be so hard for reactors to understand/adhere. So if you actually intend to do what you said in this post its gonna be a BIG step forward, and, as a viewer, is extremely welcome. There is no problem whatsoever with you pausing. Please pause it. Pause it for 40 minutes if you'd like. Better then missing a whole minute or two of information every video. its a welcome change. You certainly cant react without speaking, otherwise it wouldn't be much of a reaction... but you certainly can't react/speak if you are not watching what you are reacting to... You are making the right call.

Talking over things in Hunter is almost inevitable unless you pause or are the GOAT at parallel processing. Pausing is a great option, and in the long run I think you’ll enjoy what the show has to offer more as a result.. cheers!

Let's be honest here, I watch your content, like this, because I have ZERO social interaction. And you seem like the type, if we ended up friends irl(ha), and you said some stupid AF off the wall crap, you'd be able to take the punch coming your way, then probably laugh it off. Damn, I need people I can stand being around. But, since that doesn't seem to be happening, I'll keep isolating and watching my favorites with people who don't even know I'm here... It works for me, don't judge. It's your content. You learn as you go, but keep true to yourself, then I think you'll be just fine.

don't worry about sexual jokes man they are literally cartoon characters and anyone getting pissed off about that is schizophrenic. that being said this is the greatest show of all time and it helps to pay attention. this arc is very important as it establishes the power system of the show and has really great development.

Really glad you didn't throw your hands up and walk away from the series. I share the grievances of the comments, but the sheer volume of them would have been really discouraging if I was in your position. I think HxH fans are just *really* passionate, and we all have our own favorite moments in each episode. I understand the aversion to silence in reaction videos, but I think it's understood that HxH can be difficult to keep up with, and quiet confusion is to be expected for a first watch--not to mention the nearly constant foreshadowing and little details that can be very helpful in understanding the characters. tl;dr: I'm subscribed to see your genuine reaction to a show I enjoy. I don't need constant engagement to be interested, and I enjoy more the moments of intrigue and fascination that the show invokes on its own.

In my opinion you have a good balance with pausing, making jokes and reacting. Glad you called out not to fall for cancel culture, I was a bit afraid of that reading this post. Sure some info gets missed, but even when you have all the info there's much details in the show that will slip your mind anyway.
