Ive been a fan of his for a while and a fan of mob , i just quite frankly wished that he didnt constantly bring up the whole “ cancel “ thing in every single video . Its getting annoying pretty quickly and i just personally dont see why he has to bring cancel culture up in every other video .

I get that the fans of this anime can be very passionate and protective of their favourite show, but the passive agressiveness was just really unnecessary. Dude literally teared up by the end of the episode, for Chantaro's sake.

This really wasnt about the downfall or in your words the “ cancellation “ of Reigen , it was moreso about the fact that Reigen realizes throughout the events taking place that he took mob for granted and really , in reigens own words that he “ kept him caged in “ . For instance , when Reigen hid from mob and his friends , it wasnt truly out of “ oh shit mobs here gotta hide “ , it was for Reigen to see that Mob has these friendships outside of work and that he can thrive without Reigen . The emails his mom sent him were basically almost wake up calls for Reigen , and the cuts from reigen at his house reading the email and heading to the bar to mob in a karaoke room with his friends show the amount of progress mob has taken in his life to have even said no to Reigen . One wanted mob to be a story about taking a little baby step , and it shows especially in this arc about how much those baby steps can actually lead to a big leap for a character . Yes , Reigen is canonically “ cancelled “ but rather than viewing it as simple as that , take some time to think about the nuances of the scene , if even for a second . If you listened closely to the OST that played when the entire press conference went crazy , you can faintly here the instrument thats at the core of Mobs theme , basically saying that mob is still willing to help his master out of situations he gets himself in , which also transitions seamlessly into the ending scene on top of the bridge . I love your reactions , but i do wish that you would take a second to think about whats going on in the show instead of jumping to “ oh shit this is the cancellation episode “ and “ will there ever be a normal part of the show ? “ . I hope you take the time to read this comment , since i really dont think you take the time to read patreon comments at all .
