He's also the one who led him to that zombie demon warehouse where he first merged with pochita. His grandad is honestly an asshole and Idk why katana man thinks so highly of him.

2022-12-29 01:53:49 +0000 UTCSome details you’ve might have missed out • The ghost devil that Aki was fighting was originally the devil that Himeno was using • Katana guy’s grandfather is the old man in episode 1 who was making Denji pay for his father’s debt •The translation of Himeno’s line was “when you’re ready to develop an addiction, I’ll give it back.” but the actual line that Himeno said was “when you need something to lean on to, I’ll give it back” which makes the scene more beautiful because the ghost devil gave the cigarette when he was half defeated and needed something to hold on to
