Last week was a struggle to say the least. Writing has been like walking through a thick bog. I felt very drained creatively, mostly because it's been a while since I took a break from it but I also have been extremely busy in my IRL job which has slowly chipped away at my will to do anything.
I decided to take Thursday and Friday off from writing last week just to recharge and reset my creativity. Everything I wrote during this time felt like it was written by five year old me and it took all of my willpower not to scrap it and restart the scenes.
That said, I feel a lot better from last week. I have a bit more 'preparation' scenes to complete and then I'll begin work on the battle scenes. I'm going to also have quite a bit of breaks this month from my IRL job due to the sporadic Easter and public holidays in my country. That should help with giving me time to focus only on the game.
All updates are live except for the Nomad Tier which is upcoming this week. Please report any bugs you find or if you have feedback, feel free to share it with me. Just a heads up – if you didn't restart the game in the first part of Chapter 12's update, please restart the game now.
I added an army tracker variable determined by success/failure stats in Chapter 10's Hadi/Nomad scenes which will affect the overall battle scenes and game endings in Chapter 12's conclusion.
