The Major Arcana are the comprehensive set of cards. Each card covers a key theme for Mistress Amethyst.
TEMPERANCE
Theme: Balance and Moderation
Activity: Next day at work, do not check your phone for the first four hours
Meaning:
While the Emperor is about not letting regular life get in the way of exploring her sessions, Temperance is about not letting your desires get in the way of regular life. Maybe you get an email with a new session, and your desire overtakes you at work. Maybe you spend too much time checking Twitter when visiting with family. Listening is important, but one of the great things about serving Mistress Amethyst is the fact that she respects her subs regular lives. She wants you to enjoy her trance, but she doesn’t want to get in the way of things that are equally important. When this card comes up, it can mean it’s a good time to refocus on what’s important both for Mistress Amethyst and real life. Both must be balanced properly like the mermaid balances her water hair.
