"Are you ready for your present?" I asked meekly from around the doorframe. "C'mon Steph, we gotta go soon so hurry up," my friend, Theo, said a bit annoyed. Hyping myself up, I stepped around the corner and pulled up my red sweater revealing my massive breasts that were wrapped in scarlet ribbon. I heard his voice catch in his throat as he gawked at the sight. "I know you've had a little crush on me ever since I turned into a girl," I said, pulling my sweater back down, "So I thought it was time to admit that I returned the feeling!"
It had been almost six months since I was diagnosed with "Second Puberty" and my Y chromosomes had changed to a second X, rewriting my very DNA. Going from a 6' 5" basketball star to a 5' 1" girl with two basketballs attached to my chest was quite a shocking change, to say the least. Tack on the superstitions of other men fearing they may "catch" my illness and I was left destitute in an unfamiliar body. Thankfully my best friend and roommate, Theo, was always there for me by my side even during the worst parts of my changing as well as the other parts that came with being a woman.
To my shock, I found myself rapidly falling in love with the man despite my previous heterosexuality. Many would say it was just my new hormones or the mental changes behind second puberty but I felt this was different and not just love that could be passed off as part of my condition. Taking that into account, I decided that on Christmas Day, I would finally make my intentions clear to him, and judging by his face, it was the right call. "Steph, I- uh," he stammered, face flushed with embarrassment. I silenced him with a kiss before lifting my sweater, "I think it's time you unwrapped your gift."
