But on different note, why is Ayesha Wahab not promoting Hinduphobia bill considering her constituency has highest number of Hindus in america and data gathered from University of Pennsylvania multifold number of Hindus discriminated on basis of religion than Caste? Why has State not taken action against any Hindu american for death threats? Why do we find just claims and real footage of anyone going near her..i remember atheist republic celebrating Raja Krishnamurthy being consistently mobbed for alleged RSS connections, similar accusations hold true for Whab as well...why does atheist republic want Raja dead?

HAF and cohNA are literally shooting themselves on foot when they say there's no need of special bill for caste discrimination and then they push for special bill for Hindus when existing laws and structures are enough to address their issues ..

Could muslims be targeted for using word kufr without any context whatsoever considering Hindus find it genocidal and offensive... could christians be targeted for using word apostate pagan or heathen because people might see this particular term as slur even if it's uttered in totally different context.. hate speech laws are slippery slopes

Punjabi culture like many other indian cultures is Casteist...casteist slur are often casually without even knowing it's casteist.. like say a prominent left liberal bollywood actress once called herself a "bhangi"(which means sweeper/ choora) as poetic metaphor for her dressing sense, not that she intended to hurt anyone. neither she nor anyone one in audience realised it was casteist slur, the video was removed by her PR team after case a person was prisoned for using that word .. it was like using word hippie in western world, many don't know it's actually racist but very often casually used(learnt that on atheist republic) ..other example to this would be casually calling someone a witch, it might entirely possible a person to casually call someone a witch because of cultural environment he grew up in..he might be invoking primitive christian concept that lead to witch hunt but in no way he is calling for witch hunt onto that person. So use of term without context might not be best way to judge a human.. he might as well be casteist but i just using those words Doesn't suffice

This alone tells how casteist Punja is . Retension of casteism in Punjab has something to do with green revolution which seized opportunity of Punjab to become industrialized society . The farmer protest was predominantly was Jatt protest. It was against govt pushing free market reforms cause it would challenge sustainance of feudal hegemony of Jatt community in Punjab who would lose dominance when free market forces start to dictate it's terms.. those laws would do Marvels to no landless labourer dalits and small land owning dalits who have no other opportunity other than to work as landless labourer for feudal Overlord

2023-04-16 17:12:10 +0000 UTCThere are some corrections but overall it's very refreshing news...we always maintained if caste based discrimination laws are passed,the first target would be Sikhs Jat community and Liberals like Dalit Diva who put out vitriolic remarks on bramhins day and night because US or UK systems unlike india don't have presumed notion in structure that define who's permanent victim of casteism and who isn't.. now coming to correction part----> Jat community is not upper caste, it's shudra community that indulged in pesant works and has grew up from there to become a ruling force.. jats are extremely dominant , influential land owning community.. i come from shudra community that's very similar in background to this community , we weren't really oppressed, on contrarary my caste has been ruling for few centuries and has been involved in oppression lot of Lower castes such as Dalits & this is case with almost every state in India, especially the south... india has produced multifold times more lower caste rulers than it has produced upper caste rulers in last thousand years so when Armin thinks that Obama becoming president might not be exactly same as lower caste becoming a ruler.. it's true statement but with wrong assumption .. black becoming president or acquiring high position is still exception, Shudras becoming kings was norm..despite black community having deep cultural influences over US, they haven't rose anywhere near as many shudra communities interms of prosperity or socio-political dominance within the country ..US or most European countries are nowhere close to diversity representation if compared to India
