In Islam, angels are beings made of light, while jinns are demons made of smokeless fire. Historically, angels have looked down upon the jinns as lesser beings. Some angels have gone so far as to accuse male jinns of seducing female angels in an effort to demographically engineer Heaven. However, this is just a conspiracy theory against true love between many angels and jinns.
