Opinion: Hermaphrodites HC features for NSFW works?
Added 2022-05-31 18:00:39 +0000 UTCHello! Just want to ask about your thoughts on characters being drawn with both genitalia and other features (i.e. breasts) on them.
I’m personally unsure if this would be considered under Trans or Intersex AU/HCs and if it’s respectful and comfortable for trans folks, especially that the primary intent of drawing these features on characters is for them to engage in coitus. However the characters doing intercourse will always do so out of love/passion with their lovers. Also I plan to present particular character in such a way that it’s normal for them to have those features.
Examples of prompts I plan to create in the near future is Mikasa having a penis while still having breasts, Johan/Armin having breasts but still having penis, on some occasions canonically male characters would have a penis and a vagina at the same time (I read a work that has that somewhere and ngl it piqued my interest).
Also as I plan to add Netflix Devilman Crybaby’s Akira x Ryo (ryokira) in my ship list, I realized that Ryo is a hermaphrodite since he’s an angel (so he’s a given). So I also took that as inspiration. Nonetheless would it be okay if other characters would be drawn the same way?
Is this too much? Is this alright? Is this offensive for fetishizing certain genders/people? Should I drop the idea or are you interested as well?

So part of my brain is like "am I trans enough to be allowed to answer this?" But anyway, my personal opinion is it wouldn't be offensive, that as long as the characters are being treated respectfully, trans and intersex headcanons are just. Being inclusive.
